主要从事细胞周期调控、染色体结构与功能方面的研究工作。以第一作者或通讯作者身份在Genes & Development, New Phytologist, Chromosome Research等期刊发表论文多篇，参与编写英文专著1章。主持包括国家自然科学基金等项目2项。
