江苏省“六大人才高峰”入选者。从事发酵工程、微生物学、分子生物学、合成生物学的研究,主要承担分子生物学、生物化学、高级分子生物学课程的讲授工作。发表SCI研究论文60多篇,参编专著3部;申请发明专利20多项;主持国家重点研发计划、863、国家自然科学基金等国家级和省部级科研项目8项;主持企业横向项目7项;获得商业联合会全国科技进步2等奖1项;指导学生获得国家级和省级竞赛奖3项。
