Program of School of Business Approved by National Social Science Foundation of China in 2020

The Program “Mechanism of Social Co-Governance of Food Safety and Cross-border Cooperation” by Professor Wu Linhai, Professor Pu Xujin, Professor Wang Jianhua and their research team has been approved by the National Social Science Foundation of China.

The major program of the National Social Science Foundation is the highest-level, best-funded, and most authoritative national government-funded programs in the field of philosophy and social sciences.

Professor Wu Linhai’s program is based on the transition of China from social management to social governance. It grasps the new characteristics, trends and requirements of risks in food safety and adopts multi-disciplinary theories and methods to build a theoretical analysis framework with Chinese characteristics for social co-governance of food safety risks and cross-border cooperation.

The School has always attached great importance to research and innovated the organization model. So far, nine national programs and 17 provincial and ministerial programs of the School have been approved in 2020.

The approval of the program will play an important role in improving the overall research of the School and stimulating the enthusiasm of teachers for research.
