Personal introduction: (text description about 500 words)

Gu Meilong (1979-), female, born in Wuxi, Jiangsu, holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and World Literature from East China Normal University and is a visiting scholar at the UC Davis in the United States. I am currently employed at the School of Humanities, Jiangnan University, serving as an associate professor and master's supervisor. I am also a member of the Teaching and Research Branch of the Chinese Society of Foreign Literature and a member of the Jiangsu Literary Critics Association. Published one academic monograph (won the first prize of Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Wuxi City and the first prize of monograph achievements in Teaching Research Association of China Foreign Literature Society), authored one textbook, and published more than 50 papers. At present, I mainly engage in the teaching and research of foreign literature and literary theory. Hosted 2 Projects of the Ministry of Education, 1 Project of Jiangsu Education, Department and participated in 3 National Social Science Fund Projects.
