Guo Yong, born in Macheng, Hubei Province, is currently a professor and master tutor of the School of Humanities of Jiangnan University, a member of China Literary and Art Critics Association, a member of China Literary and Art Theory Society, and a director of Wuxi Literary and Art Critics Association. He is mainly engaged in the research of Chinese and Western literary theory and aesthetics, teaching "Introduction to Literature" and "20th Century Western Literary Theory" and other courses, presiding over 2 national Social science fund projects, provincial and bureau level scientific research, teaching and research projects, publishing 5 academic monographs, and participating in the compilation of New Century Literature Psychology, History of Western Literary Theory and other textbooks. He has published many papers in core journals such as Foreign Literature Studies and Journal of Literature and Art. He won the highest award of China Literary and Art Review - the fourth "Woodpecker Cup" Annual Excellent Works Award of China Literary and Art Review, the Jiangsu Province Social Science Applied Research Excellence Project Award, and the first prize of Wuxi Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievements. Invited to attend an international academic conference in Europe.
