Personal introduction: (text description about 500 words)

Liaojian Qu, professor emeritus of Jiangnan University, assistant to the president, master tutor, outstanding young teachers of social science in Jiangsu Province, outstanding young teachers of "Blue Project" in Jiangsu universities, his main research directions are international comparison of educational policy, student development, teacher development, social stratification and educational inequality. In recent years, he has published more than 30 papers in CSSCI and SSCI journals such as Comparative Education Research, China Higher Education Research, Tsinghua University Education Research, and Frontiers in Psychology, published one monograph and co-edited eight books. He has presided over the National Social Science Fund Project, the Humanities and Social Sciences Project of the Ministry of Education, the bidding project of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission and the key project of Jiangsu province's education science. His scientific research achievements have won one second prize of the Ministry of Education's Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences), and many municipal philosophy and social science awards; his teaching achievements have won one second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award and one special prize of Jiangsu province's Teaching Achievement Award. He is the executive director of the Home-School Cooperation Committee of the Chinese Society for Education Development Strategy, the director of the Young and Middle-aged Educational Theorists Branch of the Chinese Society for Education, the editorial board member of the International Journal of Educational Research (SSCI), and the young editorial board member of the Journal of Soochow University (Education Science Edition) (CSSCI).
