Prof.Lingyun Pan is a distinguished scholar holding a Ph.D. and serving as a postdoctoral fellow. Currently a professor at the School of Humanities (College of Education) at Jiangnan University, he also assumes the role of a graduate supervisor. With a notable academic journey, he has enriched his expertise through a visiting scholar stint at the University of South Carolina, USA.
Prof. Pan stands as an esteemed expert,contributing significantly to the academic landscape. He serves as a meticulous reviewer for the National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of Education's humanities and social science projects. Additionally, he offers his insights as an expert in the communication and review of doctoral dissertations for the Ministry of Education.
In his multifaceted role, Prof. Pan serves as an executive director of the China School Sports and Mental Health Research Association. He is also a special researcher at the Research Center for High-Quality Development of School Sports in Jiangsu Province and the Research Center for Student Physical Fitness Monitoring and Intervention Action in Jiangsu Province.
His research journey encompasses key areas such as curriculum and teaching, teacher education, school sports reform and development, and policy. Prof. Pan's dedication to advancing knowledge is evident through his leadership in two projects funded by the National Social Science Fund and over ten projects at the provincial and ministerial levels. He has played a pivotal role in two major national social science projects and ten projects at the provincial and ministerial levels.
Prof. Pan's academic prowess has earned him recognition, with three awards for provincial and ministerial-level research achievements and two awards for municipal-level research achievements. His scholarly contributions extend to the publication of an academic monograph and the editorship of a textbook. A prolific author, he has penned over 40 research papers, with 22 papers indexed in CSSCI. Notably, his work has been featured in the authoritative journal "Sports Science," and several papers have been reprinted in full in prestigious publications like the People's University Full-text Copy Materials.
