王兴国教授始终专注于食用油加工基础理论和工程技术创新研究,在食用油精准适度加工理论与方法、花生油规模化安全生产、油脂脱色机理与专用脱色材料、油脂增值产品开发等方面取得了一系列重要成果;主持“食用植物油加工关键技术研究与示范”和“食用油生物制造技术研究与开发”等国家科技支撑、863重点项目多项,获国家技术发明二等奖1项(排名1)、国家科技进步二等奖3项(排名1、2、4)以及中国粮油学会科学技术特等奖等省部级奖励8项;主持和参与制修订国家/行业标准30余项;授权发明专利52件;出版专译著教材16部(册);发表论文423篇,其中SCI论文205篇;指导研究生135人,30人获博士学位。
