nBiography

Xiao-Ning SongreceivedhisB.S. degree in computer science from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1997, the M.S. degree in Computer Science from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang, China, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligence system from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, in 2011. He was avisitingscholarwith the Centre for Vision, Speech, and Signal Processing, University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K., from 2014 to 2015. He is currently afullprofessor with the School of Internet of Things Engineering, Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China. His current research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning and computer vision.
